Sustainability

The Sustainability Committee was established in 2021 to carry out tasks related to the determination of the Company’s sustainability strategy, policy, and objectives in the fields of environmental, social, and corporate governance, as well as the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of such practices.

In all its activities, the Company prioritizes gender equality, decent work, economic growth, the reduction of inequalities, and the efficient use of all resources. By emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainability, increasing green space utilization through the materials used, and aiming for low CO₂ emissions, the Company brings sustainable projects to life.

The Company’s real estate projects are produced with environmentally compatible materials that minimize carbon emissions. Efforts are underway to achieve LEED certification, the internationally recognized green building rating system, for all types of buildings ranging from hospitals and data centers to historic structures and schools.

Within this scope, the LEED Certified Projects include:

• Şekerpınar Data Center Project, which has been awarded the LEED Gold Certificate.

• Levent Hotel Project, which has been granted the LEED Gold Certificate.

• Eskişehir Housing Project, documented with the LEED Silver Certificate.

• Halk Office Towers built in Istanbul Financial Center, which achieved the highest level of environmental performance by meeting top-level sustainability criteria in the green building field, and was awarded the LEED Platinum Certificate.

In these projects, environmentally friendly building design, water and energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility in line with international standards are prioritized.
